Some Seven Isles homes are in close proximity to the Las Olas Parking Garage located at 2801 E Las Olas Boulevard. Opened at the end of 2018, this five-story facility includes an amenity deck on the top floor as well as an external wave façade wrapping the building and offering LED lighting at night. Unfortunately, these lights can be very bright for homes on or near the isle points. Noise can also be a problem when groups renting the garage rooftop from the City enthusiastically crank up their music.

If you are impacted by the bright lights or if you find yourself staying inside to escape loud music echoing from the rooftop of the garage, it’s important to let the City know. Residents can individually file a complaint at any time and on multiple occasions if necessary, using the City’s 24-hour Customer Service hotline at (954)828-5000.

Even after-hours, the City recommends calling this Customer Service number rather than calling the police so that appropriate documentation can occur related to repeating problems. It is important for the City to receive timely and accurate documentation of complaints.

In fact, this process likely assisted the City in mitigating future noise problems. A representative from the City’s Special Events team has informed the HOA that the City is no longer accepting event applications for the Las Olas Garage Rooftop, unless approved in advance by the City Manager and with the caveat that the event have a major positive impact for the City. This new process is being phased in, with just a couple of events wrapping up under the prior application process.
