Officer Deandrea Franklin
1st Shift
Officer Deandrea Franklin Martin is new to SIG 9 Global and has had experience with working in residential security, patrolling residential communities, checking for vulnerabilities, and reporting anomalies and using security technology for the past four years. Officer Franklin is from the Bahamas and has the goal to start her own radio podcast one day. She is dedicated to her children and wants to be a positive role model for them. Officer Franklin’s goal for Seven Isles community is to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for all in the community and be someone the community can depend upon. She is very friendly and approachable and is hoping to forge a healthy working relationship with the community. Officer Franklin is assigned to work Monday through Friday 7am-3pm.
Officer Loovens Thelusme
2nd Shift
Officer Loovens Thelusme is new to SIG 9 Global and has experience with working in residential security, patrolling residential communities, checking for vulnerabilities, and reporting anomalies. Additionally, to his Full-Time work as a Security Officer he is actively enrolled in Broward College pursing a degree to be a physical therapist. Officer Loovens is from Haiti and enjoys playing videos game, and trading on his spare time. Officer Loovens’s goal for the Seven Isles Community is to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for all residents and be someone the community can depend on. Officer Loovens is assigned to work Tuesday through Saturdays 1500-2300.
Officer Junior Lormeus
Split Shift
Officer Junior Lormeus is new to SIG 9 and committed to ensuring the safety and security of the community. His background as a former football athlete at ASA Miami College has instilled in him invaluable skills such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline, which were further honed during his time as team captain. Transitioning to Florida National University, Junior earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice, laying a solid foundation for his career in the security field. Despite being new to the industry, Officer Lormeus is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. His eagerness to gain hands-on experience and apply his knowledge of criminal justice in scenarios shows his passion for making a positive impact and ensuring a safe environment for all. Officer Lormeus schedule is Sunday from 7am-11pm, Monday from 3pm-11pm, Tuesday from 11pm-7am, and Saturday from 7am-3pm.
Officer Uguent Gille
3rd Shift
Officer Uguent Gille is one of our new Team Members that has worked at the Seven Isles Community for many years. He is transitioning to SIG 9 Global and will be a great asset in assisting SIG 9 Global and our Seven Isles’ Security Team with acclimating ourselves and getting to know the Residential Community. Officer Gille is assigned to work Thursday through Monday 11pm-7am.
Officer Akai Kwalume
3rd Shift
Officer Akai Kwalume is a new security professional known for his strong sense of responsibility and deep commitment to ensuring the safety of the community. As a father of three young boys in elementary school, his familial duties instill in him an even greater sense of duty to protect the residents he serves. While relatively new to the security field, Officer Kwalume brings a valuable skill set to his role. His passion for photography, cultivated over three years, sharpens his observational skills, making him particularly adept at monitoring traffic and identifying suspicious activities. His attention to detail and quick learning ability are key assets to both the security team and the community he strives to safeguard. Officer Kwalume is assigned to work on Wednesday evenings from 2300-0700.
Steve Cady
Owner
Steve has over 25 years of professional law enforcement experience during a career that started in 1989. During Steve’s career he attended hundreds of hours of advanced leadership training and earned his Master’s Degree in Executive Management from Saint Thomas University. Additionally, Steve is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute Command Officer’s Development Course. After retirement Steve founded SIG 9 Global, a security and investigative agency that is based in South Florida, with the goal a providing extraordinary security and investigative solutions while providing first class customer service. Additionally, Steve was a contract security provider and consultant for the Miami Dolphins for several years and still provides a significant number of investigative resources to the organization. Steve is currently the NFL Security Representative for South Florida.
James “Jim” Fondo
Owner
Jim started his professional career in law enforcement in 1982 serving in many different capacities. During Jim’s 30-year career he earned a Master’s Degree in Criminology from Florida Atlantic University. He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from the Center for Advanced Criminal Justice Studies and in June of 2011, Jim graduated from the FBI National Academy Class 245 in Quantico, Virginia. In 2009 as supervisor of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homeland Security Unit, Jim was granted secret security clearance by the FBI to be briefed on terrorism related events through the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). Jim and his wife Jen Klaassens-Fondo are heavily involved in supporting our community. He is a board member of ARC Broward and is a member of Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk. Also, Jim supports 211 Broward, as well as many local charitable events held within South Florida.
Jessica L. Cady
Chief Executive Officer
Jessica L. Cady obtained her Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology, Business and a Master’s Degree in Business with General Management. Jessica has studied, developed, and implemented an unprecedented company culture trend in the security industry for the clients and employees. This culture has established higher standards and proven higher retention for client and employee success. Her passion for analytics has driven her to understand and reinvent the need for leadership and development in the upcoming workforce. She specializes in Maritime Security and Structural Facilities (including the United States’ Seaports) which she has written various policies for, specializing in anti-terrorism. She takes pride in securing facilities and evaluating vulnerabilities to remedy deficiencies and create high-level security plans.
