I love brunch! Having both a tantalizing breakfast and lunch menu to sample from is what I’m talking about.
So, when my husband suggested we go to YOT for brunch this past Sunday, I was intrigued. I’d heard lots of good buzz the last few weeks.
We arrived Sunday a bit after 11am as the restaurant opened. We were not alone. Good sign.
We sat outside as the morning was cool and the view was sweet. YOT is in a unique spot…located at the edge of the Lauderdale Marine Center and the “hidden-gem” atmosphere is perfect. You can sit indoors or outdoors on the water and just opened, will be the floating dock bar, which will be a sure-fire hit, whether you get here by land or sea. Yep, you can even dock your boat here to satisfy your thirst and palate. As I was jamming out to the chill tunes the DJ was playing, our server came over and we ordered an array of indulgences. Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Chicken and Waffles, Avocado Toast and the Almond and Cornflake Crusted French Toast. 
It was the perfect marriage of crispy, salty, crunchy, sweet and creamy. Everything was insanely delicious and the portions generous. The only thing I was bummed out about was that I was so full, I could not finish my French Toast, so my husband took the leftovers home to give to my ailing mother in law. I saw that a dinner menu was coming, also. Ahhh, the trifecta- all meals served here. Also notable is their wine collection, champagne and hand-crafted cocktail menu. Mike Linder, owner of Silver Lining Inflight Catering, Jet Runway Café and Event Effects Group, summed it up best, “YOT has easy, approachable food in a beautiful, exciting yet serene setting.” I couldn’t agree more.
