The Seven Isles Homeowners Association Board of Directors have contracted with a new security company, SIG 9 Global, to be effective July 1, 2021.
SIG 9 Global is a licensed and insured full-service security company designed to meet the needs of residential communities, providing an array of guard and security services. The company was founded by former law enforcement professionals Jim Fondo and Steven Cady, who bring a wealth of local experience. Mr. Fondo is a retired captain with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, while Mr. Cady is a retired executive lieutenant with the Broward Sheriff’s Office. “SIG 9 Global came highly recommended by some of our neighboring Isles’ communities,” stated Seven Isles HOA President Kathleen Moreo. “They have a unique focus on residential neighborhoods and are very familiar with Seven Isles.”
SIG 9 Global will provide all security services for Seven Isles, replacing the neighborhood’s off-duty police officer as well as the incumbent security company. The community’s guardhouse and security equipment are owned by the Seven Isles HOA and will be available to the new security company, whose guards will continue to provide regular patrolling of all streets as well as guardhouse watch. Coordination to ensure a seamless transition is being overseen by HOA Vice President Bob Lietz and HOA Treasurer Debbie Fitzgerald.
Vice President Lietz noted, “SIG 9 Global will provide all required security services to the community in a turnkey solution, and we are able to remain within budget providing we continue to receive the support of our residents through their HOA dues.” The Seven Isles HOA’s primary purpose is to oversee security and safety for the community.
President Moreo noted, “We are grateful for the services of Admiral Security over the past three years and especially for the Admiral guards and supervisor Peter Rossi who many of our residents have come to know personally. We are also grateful for the services of off-duty Ft. Lauderdale Police Officer Aaron Perdue. We look forward to developing new relationships with the staff of SIG 9 Global and to addressing the security needs that residents have brought forth so that Seven Isles can continue to be among the safest neighborhoods in all Ft. Lauderdale.”
