Happy holidays to all our HOA members whose contributions support our off-duty Fort Lauderdale police officer, our around-the-clock Admiral Security guards, and our guardhouse and equipment. Remember when you pay your quarterly dues next month that there is a small increase to $300 per quarter. However, any member who pre-pays for the year by January 31 will receive a $100 discount! Annual prepaid fees are only $1100 (full rate $1200) if paid by January 31.
Did you Know? You may receive a security credit on your homeowners’ insurance policy that offsets your HOA membership fee. Check with your insurance company, as discounts vary. Many HOA members are already receiving discounts.
New for 2021: Any member who pre-pays their annual HOA security fee can receive an originally signed, dated verification letter from the Seven Isles HOA to use when requesting your insurance discount. Some insurance companies require this as evidence for a discount.
Improved Neighbor Outreach in 2021: Throughout 2020, I’ve been focusing on increasing communications between the HOA board and our community, sending regular monthly digital newsletters and submitting articles for print newsletters, when available. As part of our improved outreach tactics, I’m pleased to introduce neighbor Kirsten Uebrig as Chair of our new Outreach Committee. Kirsten will support the Board in improving our communications and information with new residents as well as extending our outreach efforts with existing residents.
Annual Meeting: Save the date for our annual Seven Isles HOA all-member meeting to take place on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 7pm.
As neighbors, we all voluntarily share the cost of our security and safety. All neighbors who contribute to the security fund receive a lawn sign designating them as active contributors to the safety and security of Seven Isles. Early next year, we will be installing new 2021 stickers on the lawn signs of paid members, and pulling lawn signs of anyone who is no longer a member. We encourage you to contribute so that the homeowners association can continue our mission to enhance the security and good will of our community.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Moreo, President
