The Seven Isles HOA is pleased to share information on a solar program supported by the City of Fort Lauderdale, “Go Solar” is a current campaign to encourage residents of Broward County to join the nonprofit Solar United Neighbors Broward Co-op. According to Jason Bocchinfuso, Sustainability Administory in the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Public Works Department, the Solar United Neighbors Broward Co-Op is free for all residents of Broward County without obligation to purchase solar. The “Go Solar” campaign is a vendor-neutral initiative to expand the use of renewable energy in Broward.
“The co-op creates group buying power to reduce the costs and complexity of procuring solar energy systems for your homes,” Bocchinfuso explained. “We have been notified that the enrollment deadline has been extended to November 30 due to overwhelming interest generated.”
