The Seven Isles HOA is pleased to announce that the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Parks and Recreation Department completed cleaning the sidewalks in all common areas of the community from Feb 27 – March 5, 2021. (See photos.) Formal requests were provided to the city by the HOA in 2020, and again when the HOA completed the repainting of the bridges earlier this year. During the annual Homeowners’ Meeting on February 17, 2021, Board President Kathleen Moreo beseeched guest speaker, Vice Mayor Steve Glassman, to intervene on our behalf with the city. Other conscientious residents, such as Gregg Geenty-Prudhomme of Barcelona Drive, were also involved in urging the city to address this and other needs within Seven Isles. With Vice Mayor Glassman’s help, the City completed pressure cleaning of all the sidewalks leading up to, and on our 6 bridges, as well as the east and west sides of the neighborhood from the community entrance north to Castilla Drive. Thanks to Greg and to our HOA board members for their persistence!
