Dear Neighbor,

HOAThe Seven Isles HOA Undergrounding Committee is pleased to share that we are making meaningful progress in evaluating the feasibility of undergrounding our neighborhood’s utility lines—a proactive initiative that, if pursued, could significantly enhance the strength, safety, and long-term value of our community.

Many similar neighborhoods have successfully completed this transformation and now enjoy greater storm resilience, improved power reliability, enhanced aesthetics, and increased property values. Here in Seven Isles, the opportunity to remove overhead lines would not only improve our daily experience, but also preserve mature landscaping, reduce risk to local wildlife, and protect our waterways from storm-related runoff.

We are currently in the early planning and data collection phase no design or cost decisions have been made. However, the City of Fort Lauderdale requires each neighborhood exploring undergrounding to gather detailed information from residents. This input helps engineers understand property-level service needs and ensures that, should the community decide to move forward, the process is efficient, accurate, and cost-effective.

We invite you to participate in this important phase by completing a brief survey that will be made available to you soon. Your input will help shape the analysis and keep this effort on track.

This is not a commitment—it’s an opportunity to explore an investment in the future of Seven Isles, one that preserves our unique character while thoughtfully preparing for tomorrow.

Please submit your response by July 1, 2025.

Thank you for your time, your perspective, and your ongoing commitment to making Seven Isles an exceptional place to live.

Sincerely,
Seven Isles HOA – Undergrounding Committee
