All I can say is WOW! I have lived in Seven Isles for the past three years and this year’s annual Halloween festival was the biggest and best. We had the Fort Lauderdale Fire department attend with one of their fire trucks, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department who led the South Broward High School marching band, the Hoffman’s Chocolate treat truck, fresh hot pizza and let’s not forget about all of that candy.
The Seven Isles annual Parade is a 20 year old tradition for our community, our residents, and HOA members, as well as guests and visitors who attend the festival from surrounding isles and communities.
Special thanks goes to Kirsten Uebrig for organizing this year’s event. Brooke Lochrie’s law firm very generously donated the pizza and Lisa Quinn provided the “playbook” with all the info to organize the event which was most helpful.
Our gratitude also goes out to a number of residents and board members for their generous donations in support of the Parade. It was and is most appreciated!
Events like our annual Halloween parade, Social events as well as our website and digital newsletter are not free. We rely on the support from our neighbors and local businesses. If you have a business and would like to be a sponsor and have it predominantly displayed on our website and digital monthly newsletter please CONTACT ME. It’s only $100.00 for the entire year. For those of you already sponsoring us, thank you!
In addition to monetary support we are always looking for help putting together community events or contributing an article to our website. Again if you would like to get involved please CONTACT ME so that we can discuss it.
Regards
